of our beautiful little birdies. Our
special little friends are looking for a
child to give them love and in return
they will provide a lifetime of joy and

Children With Disabilities Program
Our children with disabilities program is
one of the great joys of running a rescue.
We help handicapped children dreams come
true of owning their own pet. Many
children can not care for a cat or dog
because of the nature of the child's
impairment, so we adopt out our small to
mid size birds, such as our cockatiels,
parakeets, lovebirds, etc.) We only adopt
through this program if one of these birds
are 100% kid friendly. We waive their
adoption fee and provide caging and
supplies free of charge. This is just one way
to put a smile on a young child's face,whom
in other words could not own a larger pet of
their own.

for the pet in question. We have over 20
years experience in caring for birds and
reptiles. Between my husband and myself,
our combined knowledge, care and
commitment to these beautiful pets, we can
offer care free sitting at our home. Please
inquire for more details.

This is a wonderful program and anyone
wishing to help can do so by donating small
cages, toys or food items to give along with
the bird being adopted out. We do this all
out of our own pocket and the adoption fees
for our larger parrots help us fund this

Yeager, A special little guy who was
adopted out through our children with
disabilities program to kenda 11 yr and
Ashley 8 yr. kendra has autism and has
love for birds. She is already forming a
special bond with Yeager.

Sunny, A talkative little guy who was
adopted out through our children with
disabilities program to Lisa 12 yrs. old.
Lisa is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair.
She told me sunny loves sitting on the
back of her chair and riding around.

Peep, One of my favorite little guys spent
two years with me until he was fully
rehabilitated and is now living with
Mikey 14 years old whom was born
deaf. His mom says they are doing
great and couldn't be happier together.
