of our special little friends. Children
and birds can be great companions and
these little birdies can provide a

Children With Disabilities Program
Our children with disabilities program is
one of our favorite programs. We help
handicapped children's dreams come true of
not care for a cat or dog because of the
nature of the child's impairment, so we
adopt out our small to mid size birds, such
as our cockatiels, parakeets, lovebirds,
etc.)and/or bearded dragons, water
dragons and small snakes that are docile to
children for free. We only adopt through
this program if one of these birds are 100%
kid friendly. We waive their adoption fee
and provide caging and supplies free of
charge. We provide them with training on
special care, feeding and handling of their
new friend. This is just one way to put a
smile on a young child's face,whom in other
words could not own a larger pet of their
own.

Yeager, A special little guy who was

disabilities program to Kendra 11 yr and
Ashley 8 yr. kendra has autism and has
love for birds. She is already forming a
special bond with Yeager.

Sunny, A talkative little guy who was

Peep, One of my favorite little guys spent
two years with me until he was fully
rehabilitated and is now living with a
little boy who id deaf. His mom says
they are doing great and couldn't be
happier together.
