Our Available Rescues.
Everyone is looking for that perfect
bird, quiet, loving, full feathered and
beautiful. With our rescues that is
not always the case. These birds and
reptiles in many cases have come
from homes where they were not
socialized, loved or taken care of
properly, but in our eyes they are all
beautiful and we hope you have the
heart to feel the same way. Although
we do our best to overcome their
behavior problems and tend to their
medical needs, we also expect a
potential adopter to do the same.
Some of our birds may never re grow
their feathers or may never be as
social as a baby you weaned
yourself, but these birds need the
same love and attention as any
animal deserves.
If you are looking for a bird that is
perfect, then please look elsewhere,
but if you can open your heart and
your home to one that truly needs
that extra love, then please fill out an
adoption application and we will
contact you when a bird becomes
available that may be perfect for you

| We run a very small rescue, in which case we do not have many birds available at one time. We have many qualified applicants awaiting to adopt, but we always welcome those with enough love and time to devote to a bird, to apply. We also occasionally have birds that have not been posted because of behavioral problems. These birds may never be handleable but can still make a great companion to someone wishing to provide a loving home. It takes a special kind of person to do so. If you think you are one of these special families, please inquire within to see if we have any birds available to be adopted out. |

do check previous applications on file
first, we do not adopt out on a first
come first serve basis. We must
match the bird to the family and home
that will best be able to accommodate
his/her needs. The final decision
comes from the bird and his or her
reactions and attitude toward the
family wishing to adopt. Please
remember our birds can be in a
evaluation and behavior program
any where from 1 month - 1 year,
longer if needed. Even after the
completion, the adoption process can
take several weeks or months until we
find the perfect home.

process, but well worth it in order to
have a happy, healthy bird placed
